Business Administration Diploma (Online)
The Business Administration Diploma at ACTM is a 100% online program designed for adults who want practical, job-ready business skills without putting life on hold. Over 15 months, you’ll build a solid foundation in management, marketing, accounting, finance, economics, HR, and business strategy, with a strong focus on real-world application.
You’ll learn how to read financial statements, understand markets, support and lead teams, manage customer relationships, and think strategically about growing a business or launching your own venture.
Program Format & Duration

Length: 15 months
Total Instructional Hours: 1,200 hours
Courses: 15 courses × 80 instructional hours each
Pacing: One course at a time (4 weeks per course, taken sequentially)
Weekly Time Commitment
20 hours per week of scheduled online instructional time (lectures, activities, assessments)
Additional time each week is expected for homework, readings, and independent study, which are not included in the 1,200 instructional hours.
No on-campus attendance is required. All classes, assessments, and instructor interactions are delivered online.

Admission Requirements
Interview Requirement:
All applicants are required to participate in a formal interview with the ACTM Administration to assess their suitability, motivation, and readiness for the program.
Standard Admission
To qualify for admission under the Standard Admission category, applicants must meet the following criteria:
Must be at least 18 years of age at the time of admission.
Possess a New Brunswick High School Diploma or an equivalent Canadian credential, verified by an official transcript.
Applicants presenting international high school credentials must have their documents evaluated by a recognized Canadian credential assessment agency such as IQAS (International Qualifications Assessment Service) or World Education Services (WES) Gateway Program.
Mature Admission (For Non-traditional / Adult Applicants)
Applicants who do not meet the standard academic requirements may apply under the Mature Admission category if they meet the following conditions:
Must be 21 years of age or older at the time of application.
Must demonstrate the ability to succeed in post-secondary studies through relevant work experience, life experience, or academic readiness.
They will be required to complete the Wonderlic Skills Assessment Test with a minimum score of 18.
English Language Proficiency:
Applicants whose first language is not English must demonstrate proficiency in English through one of the following:
Successful completion of Grade 12 English Language Arts (New Brunswick or equivalent).
Submission of official transcripts showing successful completion of at least one year (two semesters) of full-time post-secondary education in an institution where English is the primary language of instruction, located in a recognized English-speaking country.
Achievement of minimum scores on one of the following recognized English language proficiency tests:
• IELTS (Academic): 6.0
• TOEFL iBT: 70
• CELPIP: 7
• PTE Academic: 51–58
• Duolingo English Test: 95
Attendance, Participation & Completion
Because this is a structured diploma program (not self-paced), students are expected to stay engaged and on schedule.
To successfully complete the program, students must:
Attend at least 70% of scheduled online instructional hours in each course
Complete all required assignments, quizzes, and final exams
Achieve a minimum final grade of 70% in each course, as per ACTM’s grading policy
All 15 courses must be successfully completed to be awarded the Business Administration Diploma.
